A small company run by a highly enthusiastic young designer. Milo’s aim is to produce creative, stylish and fun art that’s centred on a picture everyone's best-loved family member, their pet. It's a great way of bringing a pet out of a photo and into today's home in a contempory style.
Milo works with a number of suppliers with whom they've built relationships to ensure the product quality of each bespoke canvas that's delivered to the customer's door is of the same exquisite level. There is such high attention to detail at all stages in the process of producing each piece of art, that you're assured to receive a quality canvas just when you need it.
About the artist
Passionate about art and design, artist Jane Gillett uses a variety of mediums in her work from good old fashioned painting, sketching and sewing through to digital effects in photoshop and illustrator-the focus on her work being interior design and graphic art. Her inspiration comes in everyday life, from travelling to eating to books or even in day-dreaming.
Her passion and flair for art was invigorated through her studies at the Bennett Memorial School in Tunbridge Wells, where she was known for being the first pupil to be commissioned to paint for the headmaster. This led to graduation from Leeds Metropolitan University in product design via the Kent Institute of Art and Design. Since university, Jane has gained experience within both the interior and graphic design industries for a number of companies around her home town in Kent.
Jane's idea to produce modern digital pet art from photos came whilst taking photos of her own much loved cocker spaniel Sophie. She manipulated the photos to create different styles showing her pet in various poses and designs to compliment the themes within a monthly newsletter for a leading fashion pet wear company that she designed for at the time.
